CUSTOMER STORY

I would recommend the Pathfinder cutting machine for all types of manufacturing as this machine is very reliable and durable for heavy and light products.

KOOKAI gets creative with Pathfinder

Kookai Australia (Trading as Lyndhurst Ltd Fiji) a manufacturer of women’s wear has been operating a Pathfinder cutting machine since 2001.

Our 5cm cutting machine was installed at our factory, Prahran Australia – saving us time and money from day one. My background as an Industrial sewing machine technician helped in my decision to purchase the Pathfinder.

The Pathfinder machine was chosen above over other competing brands. We considered all aspects of the technology; price was not the only factor. Machine build quality, operational costs and performance came into it, but readily available parts and not having to require expensive service contracts was an important part of our consideration.

For years we have been cutting bulk production lays up to 150ply of some materials, we also cut our single layer samples. We have been cutting a range of fabrics from fine silk to denim with no issues with cutting or machine function.

In 2004 we moved our production to Fiji and with the help of the staff at Pathfinder moved our cutting machine to Fiji, only losing 1 day of cutting. Our Fiji arm of Kookai (Aust.) cut between 15,000 – 20,000 units every week with no issues with our machine and even if we have a minor issue, we know the Pathfinder crew are only a phone call away. Being able to speak with people who not only have the knowledge of these machines but actually build these machines gives me full confidence.

I would recommend the Pathfinder cutting machine for all types of manufacturing as this machine is very reliable and durable for heavy and light products.
